The EV Charging Cohort is a program of the Climate Action Collaborative and Clean Energy Economy for the Region (CLEER) aimed at helping tenants, HOAs, and property managers install EV charging infrastructure by reducing the administrative burden by way of providing education, technical assistance, resources, funding sourcing, and supporting with every step along the way. We do this by working with a representative from a MFH complex or high-density HOA, and providing them with EV charging education, resources, tools, and up to 10 hours of individualized technical support. Phase 1: Start here to get the process started for your MFH complex or HOA.
The resources below will assist you in making some initial steps. Representatives in this phase should also reach out to their local electric utility representative to begin utility-side planning.

Phase 2: Completed Phase One? Now it’s time to determine your ideal number and type of chargers, review available EV charging financial incentives in detail, and reach out to local preferred EV charging contractors to get initial quotes for your ideal installation.

Phase 3: Way to go! You finished Phase Two, now you can apply for Charge Ahead Colorado grant funding, and look into other stackable incentives from your locality and utility.

Phase 4: Congratulations, you’re almost done with the program phases! You’ve received a Charge Ahead Colorado grant award response. Once you’ve signed your grant contract, you can move forward with installation by hiring your preferred contractor to install your EV charging stations. You can also start developing internal and external EV charging management plans and policies.
